Apple Fights Musi’s Bid for Sanctions in App Store, IP Lawsuit

Apple Inc. urged a federal judge to reject a music streaming app’s bid for sanctions, calling it a “frivolous” deflection from false allegations in a lawsuit accusing Apple of erroneously removing the platform from the App Store.

Musi Inc.'s plea is part of its “strategy of misdirection,” Apple said in a reply filed Thursday. The brief comes weeks after Musi moved for sanctions against Apple to counter Apple’s own request for sanctions in the US District Court for the Northern District of California.
