Apple Challenges Ruling That Let Photo Privacy Suit Continue

Apple Inc. is challenging a recent court ruling allowing consumers to pursue claims that the company invades privacy by collecting data from their photos without consent.

One of the consumers’ claims should be tossed for failing to show that Apple profited from their data, the company said in a filing Monday seeking an appeal in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
