Amazon.com Inc. dodged a lawsuit alleging it infringed patents describing methods for using a mobile device to search for multimedia.
The U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware June 19 dismissed TrackTime LLC’s complaint that Amazon infringed claims in Patent Nos. 8,856,638 and 8,862,978. The patents describe the use of an index to synchronize and navigate between text and multimedia.
