Amazon, Dell to Face Trade Complaint Over Laptop Technology

The U.S. International Trade Commission said it has instituted an investigation based on a complaint lodged by an Irish patent owner against Amazon.com, Dell, EMC, Lenovo, Motorola Mobility, LG and Samsung.

  • Closely held Sonrai Memory claims the companies are making or selling laptops, desktops and mobile phones made overseas that infringe three patents for attaching peripheral devices and power-saving digital circuits
