Amazon CEO Queried by Warren About Price Hikes After Tariffs

Democratic Sen. Elizabeth Warren wrote to Amazon CEO Andy Jassy about price increases following President Trump’s tariffs, according to a letter released by Warren’s office.

  • Warren asks Jassy to provide “additional information about the scale and timing of the price increases, as well as the extent to which they have been caused by President Trump’s actions”
  • Amazon must respond by March 5, Warren says
  • Warren also asks whether Amazon would pass on tariff refunds to consumers if the company received them
