Air Force Recompeting IT Logistics Work Held by General Dynamics

General Dynamics Corp. has brought in $30.8 million on the Air Mobility Command’s Logistics Integration and Weapon Systems Logistics Network Support contract and is best-positioned to take the bridge contract during transition to a full recompete of the work.

The existing contract, underway since 2016, has a $176 million ceiling and is scheduled for completion Feb. 20, 2022. That timeline precludes the Air Force running a standard competition, but the notice and attachments for the bridge contract provide early warning for other companies interested in unseating General Dynamics.
