Activision Blizzard Is Facing Labor Board Complaint from Union

The union representing Activision Blizzard workers says it has filed a federal labor complaint against company executives, saying that management illegally spied on workers during a July walkout to protest gender inequality.

In an unfair labor practice charge filed with the National Labor Relations Board Monday, the Communications Workers of America alleged that management cut off a chat channel during a July 21 meeting where workers were actively discussing wages, hours, and working conditions—speech that’s protected under the National Labor Relations Act.
