Wells Fargo, Former N.Y. Giants Player Settle Credit Limit Suit

Former New York Giants defensive end Owa Odighizuwa has settled claims that Wells Fargo Bank NA refused to give him a credit increase due to his race and national origin.

The parties reached a confidential settlement, counsel for Odighizuwa, Michael Fuller with OlsenDaines in Salem, Ore., told Bloomberg Law Thursday. Counsel for Wells Fargo didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

The case, originally filed in state court and removed to the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon, was resolved Wednesday, according to minutes of Magistrate Judge John V. Acosta.
