Upcoming IT Contract Puts Spotlight on Small Vendor Procurement

More than 1600 questions submitted following NASA’s release of a draft request for proposals for the $20 billion Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement VI vehicle indicate continuing strong industry interest in the 10-year contract.

NASA published the Q&A document March 1, about eight weeks after members of the House Small Business Committee sent a letter to the agency’s Administrator Bill Nelson raising concerns about announced changes to the acquisition plan for SEWP VI and three weeks after the panel met to hear from small businesses.
