Willkie Recruits Daniel Lopez to Private Equity Practice Group

Daniel Lopez joined Willkie Farr & Gallagher as a partner in the private equity practice group in San Francisco, Thursday.

Lopez advises funds and their portfolio companies on various strategic private equity transactions, including leveraged buyouts, dispositions, carveouts, debt financings, growth equity investments and secondary transactions. He works with sponsors in the tech and life sciences sectors, the firm said. He also advises boards, special committees, investors and other key stakeholders on fiduciary duty, securities law, corporate governance and equity compensation matters.

He joins from Orrick.
