Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) must wait to re-up a challenge to San Antonio’s use of $100,000 in taxpayer money to fund travel for out-of-state abortions, a state court judge ruled Wednesday.
The case won’t be ripe until San Antonio takes final steps to distribute the funds, which the city says won’t be until the end of June, Bexar County Judge Antonia Arteaga (D) announced at the end of a hearing.
