Sekri’s AbilityOne Status Revives Ballistic Vest Challenge

Sekri Inc. may again challenge the Defense Logistics Agency’s decision to hold a competition to supply ballistic vest components instead of selecting the company as a mandatory source under the AbilityOne program, the Federal Circuit ruled Friday.

The U.S. Court of Federal Claims dismissed Sekri’s protest for lack of standing for the company’s failure to timely submit a bid or object to the decision before the bid deadline.
