No Fly List Removal of Yemeni American Moots D.C. Circuit Appeal

A dual US-Yemeni citizen’s appeal challenging his placement on the US Transportation Security Administration’s No Fly List is dismissed as moot because the government subsequently removed his name, the D.C. Circuit said Friday.

The claims Fahmi Ahmed Mohoram raised are “incapable of repetition in light of the Government’s representations” that he isn’t on, and won’t be returned, to the No Fly List, Judge Robert L. Wilkins of the US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit said.
