A Maine family planning group remains cut off from Medicaid reimbursements while fighting a provision in the 2025 GOP tax law that temporarily paused payments to providers that offer abortion care.
Maine Family Planning, an 18-member network of reproductive health care clinics, once again failed to demonstrate that it’s likely the coverage suspension is unconstitutional, the US District Court for the District of Maine said Monday in an order refusing to halt the measure.
