Malone Says Investors Will Embrace Warner Bros. Spinoff

John Malone, the billionaire media executive who helped engineer the merger of Warner Bros. and Discovery Inc., said institutional investors will embrace a standalone studio and streaming business when it’s separated from the company’s cable TV channels.

“We’ll have a much higher valuation than the combined company,” Malone said in an interview Thursday with Bloomberg TV. “Once that pickle is out of that jar, there’s gonna be a lot of people interested in doing business with that pickle.”
