Texas and other states offered enough evidence to pursue a case alleging Google’s monopoly in advertising technology impaired competition, Judge Sean D. Jordan of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas said Tuesday. He rejected Google’s stance that the states lacked standing.
The decision, paving the way for a trial in May, adds to the blitz Google is facing in the courts.
