Chemical Manufacturer Huntsman Names New General Counsel

Huntsman Corporation, a global manufacturer and marketer of specialty chemicals, has named Julia Wright as executive vice president, general counsel and secretary, replacing the retiring David Stryker, the company said Friday.

Wright has over 15 years of senior executive experience, most recently serving as senior vice president, general counsel and secretary at ChampionX Corporation until its acquisition by SLB. Stryker, who has served as Huntsman’s general counsel since 2013, will transition to the role of executive vice president, strategic initiatives, before retiring at the end of the year.
