A Washington, D.C. federal district court ruled that the District of Columbia isn’t entitled to summary judgment on the retaliation claim under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of a correctional officer who wasn’t rehired after bringing sexual harassment complaints for female employees, being named as a witness in a sexual harassment suit, and reporting sexual harassment to the EEO; finding that there was strong evidence of temporal proximity and genuinely disputed fact issues supporting pretext.
