The Biden administration is taking steps to revise the federal response to campus sexual misconduct, after reviewing controversial Trump administration regulations.
The Education Department announced a public hearing and an anticipated rulemaking process Tuesday. The agency also said colleges and schools will get new guidance on compliance with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, the federal law banning discrimination on the basis of sex in schools.
