Black Ex-U.S. Lawmaker Loses Appeal Over Legal Group Suspension

An Alabama legal services group was properly granted dismissal of former U.S. Rep. Artur Davis (D)'s race discrimination suit because his paid suspension while the organization probed allegations of wrongdoing wasn’t an adverse job action, the Eleventh Circuit ruled Thursday in a case of first impression.
