Biden to Sign Policing Order Two Years After Floyd’s Death (2)

President Joe Biden is set to issue an executive order to revise use-of-force policies for federal law enforcement on Wednesday’s two-year anniversary of the death of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police.

The order would impose new requirements on all federal law-enforcement agencies, including a restriction on no-knock warrants and a ban on choke holds and carotid restraints. It will also require officers to intervene and stop the use of excessive force when they see it.
