ZoomInfo Top Brass Sued Over Post-Pandemic Client Churn Response

ZoomInfo Technologies Inc. leaders misled investors about declining customer demand for the company’s platform following the Covid-19 pandemic, concealing “manipulative and coercive” auto-renewal strategies, according to a shareholder derivative complaint.

The software provider experienced customer churn as the pandemic subsided despite attempts to stem the flow of clients reducing or canceling their contracts, and its deceptive tactics ultimately harmed ZoomInfo’s customer relations, said the complaint filed Monday in the US District Court for the Western District of Washington.
