UK Financial Watchdog’s Crypto Chief Leaves After Nine Months

The UK financial regulator’s head of digital assets has left after about nine months in the job, just as the agency is seeking to bolster its crypto capabilities.

Binu Paul, who joined the Financial Conduct Authority to run its crypto unit in October, departed earlier this month, the regulator said in a statement on Tuesday. His predecessor Victoria McLoughlin will take over until a permanent replacement is found.
