UHY Hires Plante Moran’s Laura LaPeer as CFO

UHY announced the appointment of Laura LaPeer as chief financial officer, the midsized accounting and business advisory firm said Wednesday.

LaPeer will play a key leadership role in upholding UHY’s financial integrity, providing strategic insights, and enhancing accounting and transactional support across the firm. She will be based in UHY’s Farmington Hills, Mich., office and will collaborate closely with industry leaders, office managing partners, and executive leadership to deliver timely and accurate financial information, the firm said.

LaPeer has over 25 years of experience, including most recently as CFO at Plante Moran.
