Twitter Investors in Ad Target Suit Get Lead Plaintiffs, Counsel

Twitter Inc. investors who accused the social media platform of misleading them about how new user settings would make targeted advertising less effective secured lead plaintiffs and counsel in their California federal district court suit.

The Weston Family Partnership LLLP and the Twitter Investor Group will serve as co-lead plaintiffs for the proposed class, Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California said in consolidating two suits Wednesday.

The co-lead plaintiffs previously filed a stipulation and proposed order seeking joint appointment. The pair were the only lead plaintiff movants remaining, Rogers said. ...
