Twitter Investor Class Certified in Slow User Growth Suit

Twitter shareholders can proceed as a class in a suit against the social media giant for allegedly misleading investors about user growth, a federal judge ruled.

Twitter Inc. investors have judicial approval to sue the company as a class for allegedly misleading them about user engagement and growth, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California said July 16. The certified class includes anyone who acquired Twitter stock between February 6, 2015, and July 28, 2015, Judge Jon S. Tigar said.
