Thomson Heiress Doesn’t Need Restraining Order, Fed. Judge Says

Billionaire media heiress Taylor Thomson doesn’t need another temporary restraining order against the friend she’s suing—she has one from state court, and the single-day of text messages weren’t violent threats, a federal judge says.

Thomson’s daughter doesn’t need one against Ashley Richardson either, says Judge Maame Ewusi-Mensah Frimpong. The US District Court for the Central District of California judge denied Thomson’s application for a temporary restraining order, TRO, on Thursday.
