Steven Peikin is headed back to Sullivan & Cromwell LLP in New York after a three-year stint as a co-director of the SEC’s Enforcement Division.
Peikin will rejoin the law firm Nov. 2 as the leader of its securities and commodities investigations and enforcement practice, Sullivan & Cromwell said Wednesday. He previously headed the firm’s criminal defense and investigations group and was the chief of the Securities and Commodities Fraud Task Force in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York.
