Standard Lithium Ltd. investors can’t proceed with a proposed securities class action claiming the company misrepresented its progress in commercializing lithium extraction for battery manufacturing, a federal court ruled.
The investors also failed to show how Standard Lithium’s statements that its technology was “novel” and “proprietary” misled the market, Judge Eric R. Komitee said Sept. 28 for the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
