Skechers Holder Drops Lawsuit Over $9.4 Billion Go-Private Deal

A Skechers USA Inc. stockholder relinquished its lawsuit alleging the sneaker company’s family founders needed to provide more information before being acquired by private equity firm 3G Capital.

The pension fund told the US District Court for the Central District of California on Aug. 8 it was voluntarily dismissing its suit—days after Skechers filed an information statement to the US Securities and Exchange Commission with details about what would be the biggest-ever footwear industry buyout.
