Skechers USA Inc. won’t have to face a would-be class action accusing the company of misleading investors about growth and future expenses after a New York federal district judge dismissed the case.
The footwear company’s investors didn’t properly allege that Skechers misled them about whether sales were likely to grow at a higher rate than expenses, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York said in an order docketed March 13.
