The public will now be able to view brokers’ professional background information reported on Form U5 to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority in as little as three days instead of the 15 days it used to take.
The change is the result of the Securities and Exchange Commission’s approval of a proposal made earlier this year by FINRA for its BrokerCheck system.
