SEC Releases ‘Hinman Emails’ That Ripple Labs Says Bolsters Case

Ripple Labs Inc. says newly unsealed documents detailing deliberations over a key speech by a former SEC official are key to its defense against allegations that the firm raised more than $1.3 billion through the sale of unregistered securities.

Attention to the dispute has increased with the US Securities an Exchange Commission alleging last week that 19 tokens were unregistered securities in lawsuits against the Coinbase and Binance exchanges.
