Steven Seeger, a senior trial counsel for the Securities and Exchange Commission, is President Donald Trump’s nominee for a seat on the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Trump nominated him in June, with backing from Democratic Sens. Dick Durbin and Tammy Duckworth of Illinois.
