SASB Founder Joins Silicon Valley’s Long-Term Stock Exchange

A nascent Silicon Valley stock exchange that says it will eschew short-term thinking is joining the rush toward sustainable investing.

The Long-Term Stock Exchange on Tuesday said it had hired Jean Rogers, the founder and former chief executive of the Sustainable Accounting Standards Board, or SASB, to join its company as chief resilience officer. She’ll be working with early-stage companies to add sustainable thinking into their corporate governance practices, as the exchange prepares for launch as soon as the first quarter of 2020.
