Roblox Beats Investor Suit Over Age Metrics After Record Selloff

Roblox Corp. defeated investor allegations that blamed a record stock drop on the gaming company overhyping its ability to “age up” its young user base after it became publicly listed.

Investors didn’t sufficiently allege that Roblox’s public statements contradicted metrics that tracked the percentage of platform users under the age of 13 or its impact on the number of in-game purchases, Judge Richard Seeborg said while granting the company’s motion to dismiss the lawsuit.
