Robinhood Legal Chief Sees Challenges With SEC Rule Changes

Robinhood Markets Inc.’s Chief Legal Officer Dan Gallagher said that the US Securities and Exchange Commission could have a hard time justifying changes to stock trading, which the agency is said to be weighing.

The regulator is contemplating a plan that could switch how everyday investors’ trades get carried out. No changes have been proposed yet, but Gallagher said that the agency could wade into treacherous territory should it upend the current system.
