Ripple Prime Gives Wall Street Access to DeFi Venue Hyperliquid

Ripple Labs’ prime brokerage arm is giving Wall Street firms a new way to trade on one of crypto’s fastest-growing derivatives platforms without having to deal directly with the technical complexities of decentralized finance.

Ripple Prime has started offering institutional clients access to crypto perpetual futures contracts via Hyperliquid, a decentralized exchange that has become a major venue for cryptocurrency derivatives. The arrangement allows Ripple Prime clients to trade products through a platform that does not use intermediaries, while also addressing some of the longstanding concerns around managing assets and regulatory compliance.
