Realogy Fights Off Investor Allegations of Antitrust Scheme

Realogy Holdings Corp. is free of a would-be class suit accusing it of misleading investors about an alleged commission inflation scheme after a federal judge in New Jersey dismissed the case with prejudice.

The residential real estate giant’s investors didn’t sufficiently allege that Realogy made actionable, misleading statements about the purported anticompetitive behavior used to secure its commission rate, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey said in an unpublished opinion.
