Rate-Swap Trading Firm TrueEx to End Trading Operations July 19

TrueEx LLC, the interest-rate-swap trading service created by Sunil Hirani, plans to stop trading operations on July 19 after it alleged that the world’s largest banks started a boycott to choke off its business.

TrueEx is selling its registrations with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission to a related company, TrueDigital Holdings LLC, it said July 9 in a statement.

The sale of the CFTC-approved “designated contract market” and “swap execution facility” licenses will help TrueDigital list Bitcoin derivatives on a regulated market, TrueEx said. The CFTC must approve the sale, according to the statement.
