PwC Fails to Get Early Appeal on Auditor Securities Liability

PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP lost its bid for an immediate appeal of a ruling keeping it in a suit over Clarivate Plc public offerings that it audited, leaving courts split on auditor liability.

The accounting firm also isn’t entitled to have the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York reconsider a ruling denying its dismissal request, Judge Eric Komitee said Monday.
