PCAOB Issues Statement on 10-Year Anniversary of Sarbanes-Oxley Act

Since the 2002 Sarbanes-Oxley Act created the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board, the U.S. system of auditor oversight has been fundamentally reformed to better protect investors, serving as a model for the rest of the world, according to a July 31 PCAOB statement on the 10-year anniversary of the law.
