Oura Files Confidentially for IPO as Smart Ring Sales Surge (1)

Oura Health Oy, a maker of smart rings that track health, fitness and sleep, filed confidentially for a US initial public offering as it looks to capitalize on the growing popularity of wearable devices.

The company said Thursday that it filed IPO paperwork with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, confirming a story by Bloomberg News. The number of shares and the price range have yet to be determined, Oura said.

The company is working with Goldman Sachs Group Inc., Morgan Stanley, JPMorgan Chase & Co., Allen & Co. and Jefferies Financial Group Inc. on the offering, according to ...
