OneStream Investor Ends Suit Over $6.4 Billion Take-Private Deal

A OneStream Inc. stockholder dropped her challenge to the financial management platform’s $6.4 billion buyout by private equity firm Hg a few weeks after the deal closed.

Judge Charles P. Kocoras terminated the case April 24 after the investor, Sonal Rana, said she was voluntarily dismissing claims that the company should’ve detailed how Hg persuaded OneStream’s founder and CEO Thomas Shea to accept a $24-per-share takeover offer.

Rana sued OneStream, Shea, and eight other directors—including retired US Army general David Petraeus—in the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois before the acquisition’s completion.
