Old SEC Hand Puts New Spin on Agency’s Work in Texas

The SEC’s office in Texas isn’t investigating why “noses run and feet smell” or whether gluten-free spaghetti is an “impasta” anymore.

David Peavler, who left a wealth management firm to become the Securities and Exchange Commission’s top official in the state in July, isn’t one to crack a joke, especially on Twitter.
