A batch of key Trump administration environment and energy posts will remain unfilled heading into 2020, as the Senate Dec. 19 confirmed just one last-minute nominee, the EPA’s inspector general.

Sean O’Donnell, who served most recently as a trial attorney in the criminal division of the Department of Justice, was confirmed by voice vote just before the Senate adjourned for the year.
