Odebrecht, Investors Head to Trial in Securities Fraud Suit (2)

Brazilian construction conglomerate Odebrecht SA and certain of its entities will head to a federal jury trial in a case by investment companies over a concealed corruption scandal considered one of the largest in modern Latin American history.

Judge Dale E. Ho partially granted DoubleLine Capital LP and its affiliates’ motion seeking summary judgment on specific parts of their fraud claims in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York Wednesday.
