Top brass hurt Nutex Health’s reputation and wallet in having it conceal working with HaloMD and relying on its services to boost revenue, according to the shareholder derivative complaint filed Monday in the US District Court for the Southern District of Texas. The specialized hospital operator’s stock price slipped after a short seller flagged its relationship with HaloMD, and accused the latter of scheming to defraud insurance companies.
