NovoCure Escapes Investor Suit Over Cancer Therapy Trial Data

NovoCure Ltd. officially defeated a lawsuit claiming that the oncology company misled investors about clinical trial results testing broader use of a cancer therapy ahead of a record stock drop.

Lead plaintiff Clendon T. Rice opted not to amend his complaint after Judge Gregory H. Woods tossed his claims last month, so the US District Court for the Southern District of New York ordered the case be closed Tuesday.
