Nonprofit Accuses Influencers of $5 Million Real Estate Scam

A California religious nonprofit has sued two entrepreneurship influencers and their related companies for perpetrating an alleged real estate investment scam that resulted in the nonprofit losing $5 million.

Heritage Global Network Los Angeles, a nonprofit “dedicated to building an interfaith Judeo-Christian community,” says Wealth Cap Holdings LLC, its associated funds, and the men who controlled them made misrepresentations about the funds’ success and their property holdings. The nonprofit filed its complaint in the US District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee on Wednesday.
